1. Product Overview
Ceramic nozzles are precision functional components manufactured from high-purity alumina or zirconia ceramic. Depending on structure, they are used for fluid dispensing, gas shielding, air blowing, jetting and spray applications. Thanks to ceramic’s outstanding wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability, they serve as long-life consumables widely used in semiconductor packaging, SMT, automation, surface treatment and precision fluid control systems.
Unlike metal nozzles, ceramic nozzles resist erosion by abrasive slurries, chemical adhesives and high-temperature media. Precision micro-hole machining enables stable flow and consistent output for micro-processes.
2. Core Features & Advantages
- High Wear Resistance & Hardness Made of 99.9% alumina ceramic or zirconia ceramic. Superior hardness reduces orifice wear under long-term impact of filled glue, powder or high-speed fluid, maintaining stable flow rate and size consistency.
- Excellent Chemical Inertness Resistant to most solvents, acids, alkalis, UV glue, silver paste and solder paste. Not prone to corrosion or chemical reaction, avoiding contamination of workpieces.
- High Temperature Resistance & Low Thermal Expansion Stable performance under high heat; low thermal deformation ensures dimensional accuracy during continuous thermal cycling.
- Ultra-Precision Micro Orifice Machining Micro bore and tapered channel with mirror polishing, smooth inner surface, low fluid resistance, reducing clogging, tailing and material buildup.
- Low Particle & Good Insulation Dense sintered ceramic body generates few particles, suitable for cleanroom production; good electrical insulation prevents static damage to sensitive electronic components.
- Flexible Customization Custom orifice diameter, taper angle, overall length, outer shape, thread structure, mounting flange and channel layout according to equipment requirements.
3. Typical Applications
- Semiconductor packaging: Dispensing, nitrogen shielding, wire bonding air shroud
- Precision dispensing: Jet valves, contact dispensers for silver paste, epoxy, UV glue
- Automation: Air blow, dust removal, cooling air nozzle
- Surface treatment: Fine spraying, misting, abrasive media injection
- Compatible machines: Jet dispensers, wire bonders, cleaning equipment, spray systems

5. Operation & Maintenance Notes
- Ceramic is brittle. Avoid dropping, side impact and excessive bending force to prevent cracking and chipping.
- Select proper material and orifice size based on medium viscosity, filler content and pressure. Fine holes are easier to clog.
- Clean channels promptly after use. Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended for cured glue or solid residue.
- Regularly inspect orifice for scratches, wear and blockage. Replace when flow volume or spray pattern becomes unstable.
- Do not exceed rated pressure and temperature to avoid rupture and abnormal flow.
